Good morning, I am an undergraduate student who is somewhat new to TEI. Recently, I have attempted to markup a highly descriptive bibliography on Willa Cather and have run into some difficulties.
Here is an example of what I am marking up:
A i. APRIL TWILIGHTS
a.) First edition, 1903
[rule of 7 green (137) 5-petaled rose orn.} | APRIL |
TWILIGHTS I POEMS BY | Willa Sibert Gather | [green (137)
Gorham Press device]
Collation: [1-3]8 '; pp.[1-8] 9-52 [53-56] = 28 leaves.
Contents: P. 1: title page; p.2: 'Copyright 1903 by Willa Sibert
Cather [rule] All Rights Reserved \ Printed at \ The Gorham
Press, I Boston, U.S.A.'; p.3: 'DEDICATORY | To R. C. C.
AND C. D. C. [25-line poem in italic]'; p.4: blank; pp.5-6:
contents; p.7: half title; p.8: blank; pp.9-52: text; pp.53-56:
Text Contents (first publication as noted):
As you can tell, the metadata of the bibliography includes multiple editions, collations, contents, and textual contents. I have tried <bibl>, <biblFull>, and <listBibl>, but none of them seem to have the level of detail I need. What would be the best method of encoding this? Are there any examples I could look at to use as a template?
Thanks in advance,
