Sorry, David. While I (think I) understand the situation, I don't
understand the problem. What is it about the person-in-disguise that
you want to record, and for what purpose?
(FWIW, in general I wouldn't encode information about the disguises;
but then again, I don't have any use-case for that information, other
than displaying a brief prose description.)
