I am checking to see if there are any institutions that have STANDARD TRIAGE PROTOCOL to screen for HYPOGLYCEMIA?
I didn’t see anything specific from ESI that helped clarify this. Our intention is to try to identify sooner those children/infants who may be at risk for hypoglycemia (dehydrated/gastro, sepsis, AMS, tox…etc.) that would benefit from prompt resuscitation
I’d appreciate any feedback if possible.
