Dear PEM Colleauges
I would be very grateful to know your site's policy on the use of student volunteers in research.
Specifically, our Research Institute leads are considering whether or not student volunteers should have access to the patient chart for research - in particular for prospective research. I am curious to know if there is a policy at your site regarding the use of student volunteers in research, or in the absence of a policy what is the working standard?
When replying, please let me know the hospital you are affiliated with.
