Spanish would definitely be «guerra de toallas», and I assume Portuguese
would likewise be «guerra de toalhas». I'm less confident in non-Iberian
Romance, but Italian «guerra di asciugamani» sounds right. After that,
despite having some French and Romanian, I'd be straight guessing.
