The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center /Boston University School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our division of ten pediatric emergency faculty.
The Boston Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department cares for 24,000 patients per year. Our pediatric emergency medicine fellowship has been in existence since 1988. We are responsible for resident education of our core residency programs in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. We serve an urban community and have innovative programs in violence prevention, substance abuse, adolescent birth control and mental health screening. Our new, state of the art pediatric emergency department allows for an exceptional experience for patients and providers. Our nursing staff is pediatric EM specific and extremely experienced.
Faculty receive an appointment with Boston University School of Medicine and are encouraged and supported to pursue work in education, administration and research. Academic rank and salary offered are commensurate with experience and achievement. We are looking for an excellent clinician and energetic faculty member to educate trainees, develop programs, and add to the academic environment.
Interested individuals should be board eligible/or certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or in both Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine, and interested in pursing an academic career in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
