Our Pediatric Emergency Department cares for 46,000 children per year and is staffed 24/7 by 2 PEM physicians along with support of pediatricians, and advanced practice providers. All providers are hospital employed physician with competitive compensation and benefits. Scribes are provided at no additional cost. We have the support of 24-hour in-patient hospitalists and pediatric intensivists covering a total of 84 inpatient bed, as well as the full spectrum of pediatric surgical and medical sub-specialists on call. Mary Bridge ED is a teaching site for University of Washington medical students, residents in Pediatrics, Family Practice, and Emergency Medicine from 11 resident programs, and University of Washington Nurse Practitioners. Our PEM physicians hold clinical faculty appointments at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
