I thought I would like to start a new topic. I would like to know how
many of your local paramedic services are using Rapid Sequence Intubation
in the field. Of those that are, did your hospital/group have any input
for the guidelines and/or drug lists?
This is an issue we are looking at in the Atlanta area. Just as RSI is an
important adjunct in airway management in the ED, we feel that it has a
place in the prehospital management of the airway.
OK, I opened up the flood gates.... what are your thoughts?
