I regularly use the IV tubing method to secure tubes in children and adults
in the field. It works great. We have however started using vinyl model
airplane fuel line to make our tube tamers. The tubing is almost identical
to IV tubing and is more cost effective than wrecking a whole IV setup to
secure a tube.
