PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE FACULTY POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University, located at
Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking academically oriented
emergency medicine physicians at the assistant to full professor levels.
Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in pediatric emergency
medicine. Responsibilities include direct patient care and supervision of
pediatric emergency medicine fellows, medical students, and residents in
pediatrics, emergency medicine, and family practice. The Division of
Emergency Medicine is committed to protected faculty time for research, and
tenure-track appointments are available. Salary and benefits are excellent
and will be based on training, experience, and level of academic appointment.
The Emergency Department of Children's Hospital currently sees more than
75,000 patients per year. The facility was the first Level 1 pediatric
trauma center in Ohio. The hospital supports a Burn Center and the Regional
Poison Control Center. A major remodeling and expansion of our 22,000 sq.
ft. emergency department was recently completed.
Columbus, the state capital, is a vibrant, growing community located in
Central Ohio. As the sixteenth largest city in the U.S., it boasts a blend
of metropolitan attractions and nearby suburban and rural comfort. There are
