I am following the FDA processing of dermabond ie the cyanoacrylate glue
which may "replace sutures." I am just curious if members of the list have
any opinions and/or any experience with the glue?
Are members aware of the pending final approval of this product in the US?
Do members plan on using this when it is approved?
Are there any concerns or reservations members have about the glue?
Of those who have used the product, have you encountered any difficulties
or complications, when using the glue?
Apparently, those in the business community have some hesitation concerning
the product because they feel md's won't use it because it may effect the
"cash intake stream" ie docs will be concerned about losing money if
patients don't return for suture removal? Anyone follow this logic?
