Was wondering if, now that the FDA has approved 4 methylpyrazole as an
antidote for ethylene glycol poisoning, people are stocking it in their
pediatric formulary and using it? The previous option of IV ETOH has had
distinct disadvantages of difficulty in maintaining levels, hypoglycemia
in the pediatric patients and AMS. All these are not an issue with 4MP.
