Dear All,
 
In fine-tuning my e-edition, I am confronted with the next problem for
which I see no solution (possibly due to the long hours of work).
 
In a couple of documents I used an XREF with the following syntax:
 
<XREF DOC="overlevering" FROM="ID (i5)">Bronbeschrijving</XREF>
 
with the &overlevering; defined in a separate file, referred to in the
DTDecl as
 
[
<!ENTITY % ESPtel SYSTEM "ESPtel.ent">
 %ESPtel;
]
 
The problem now is that the parser protests against my XREF syntax with
the message:
 
"warning: expected a notation entity"
 
What exactly is going on here, and how can I solve this?
