To the Members of the PEM Community:
Children's National Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington,
DC. will be searching for a new Chair of Pediatric
Emergency Medicine and Trauma Services. CNMC will be
seeking a physician-leader in PEM who can respond to the
evolving health care climate. The faculty appointment will be
at either the associate professor or professor level at the
George Washington University School of Medicine.
The responsibilities of the new Chair will include oversight of
the medical, nursing, and administrative functions of the
Division of Emergency Medicine and Trauma Services. The
successful candidate will ideally have strong clinical and
leadership experience and the ability to further the research
of our active Division. The individual should have
demonstrated administrative and managerial skills.
