What languages do the two non-English & non-Romance people
speak other than their own?  How much English are they exposed to?
You do realize it is quite possible for a non-English country to have
full-page English ads to appear.  English-slang to come through via
music and movies.  So... You were saying?
 
And if communicating with Europeans is what You prefer and
