Although RSV season has come to an end, my group has been discussing the use of racemic epi in bronchiolitis. Most of us found it useful in certain patients. We don't agree about when do discharge these patients. Some feel all bronchiolitics who get epi in the ED should be admitted. Others feel that discharge may be considered after a period of observation. What are other folks doing?
(the croup story all over again?)
