First, thank you for all the responses.

My presentation took place this morning, and was quite successful I think
(I was the only one to whom somebody else than the teacher asked a
question, and people were not talking while I was presenting, unlike the
other presentations :)) I think we can call that a success). My "outing"
went well (well, most people already thought I was a weirdo, now they know
why :)) ) and they seemed interested in this domain they nearly had never
heard about before.

I first introduced the subject with Tolkien and his languages (and his
views about it he presented in the Secret Vice). Secondly I defended the
right to call conlanging an art, or at least not to consider it an act of
madness (I used mostly Sally's article for that). And finally I focussed on
the Conlang List and specially on the Starling's Song Relay. As I couldn't
possibly present all the texts of the relay, I just showed the origin and
the conclusion (the two Valdyan texts) as well as the step between Padraic
and me (because that's the part of the relay I know best). Finally I
invited people to go and see by themselves on the web, to get more
information than my little presentation.

The teacher told me it was the most interesting presentation of them all,
that's nice. I would have liked to talk a little more about it but my
presentation took already nearly twice as much time as it should have
(mostly because of the questions that brought new questions and
everything). But at least I didn't have unfair remarks like "Why aren't you
concentrating on real languages?", maybe because they already know that I'm
more polyglot than they are :)) .

Thank you for your support, I hope they're now going to take a few moments
to explore the web for more information about conlangs.

Bye.
