    This was meant to go to the list, because I'm actually curious as to
where "ob" came from.

    I've understood it to mean "about", or "in relation to".  Did it come
from the English word "about", or the Russian word "ob" which means "about"
and is used in front of words that begin with vowels ("o" otherwise)?
