My family is from England, Ireland Scotland and, it now seems, the
Netherlands.  The most recent immigrant in my family came from England to
Galveston, Texas in 1865, but even she was born to an American father and a
British mother in England so she was only half an imigrant.  Several
branches of my family are American in Colonial times, and others may be.  I
just haven't been able to trace some of the branches beyond the 1840's.
Census records get reeeeeally messy in 1840.
