i'm a 36 years' old average manager now and very skeptical towards real world's
personality classification. although consistently labelled a dull "SP craftsman"
according to the keirsey test, i still have had a couple french headhunters
scratching their head at my personality test results: "ok, so basically you're
done 'cause you're logical yet math-deaf, sociable yet shy, organized yet
whimsical, team-spirited yet independent, idealist yet practical, imaginative
yet normative", etc. fortunately for me, not all companies consult headhunters
and trust their tests :-) my only piece of advice is: never trust others'
decrees about your life and as Christophe writes it: "take it as a movie." i
hold as most important in life what lasting comfort i can bring to my
environment. conlanging has brought to me the opportunity to write down the
rules and roots of a whole language. i know for sure that the mere thought that
i could make a whole, workable, speakable, writable language will make my
descent believe--although none of them will learn it--that anything is possible
provided you want it strong enough.

my conlanger's Profession of Faith is therefore:
(i) Thou shalt bring to posterity a whole language to birth ;
(ii) Thou shalt provide thy conlang with all needed workable phonology, basic
grammar and root vocabulary to thrive and survive thee;
(iii) Thou shalt point clear enough guidelines for thy hypothetical juniors to
make thy conlang their own.
Verdurian is an excellent example.
