You're quite right. Note, please, that that's exactly what I call the part
I translated -- a "novel extract" (which may not be very good English;
while "novel" used as a noun means "romano", "novel" used as an adjective
means "interesa pro noveco" and has nothing to do with the noun, except
etymologically).
