Well, not in my conlangs, but I can tell there are lots of examples in written Hungarian and many european languages:
is (meaning "too"), a (article), rom ("ruin"), est ("evening"), hall ("hears"), hang ("sound"), alma ("apple"), por ("dust"), mi ("what" or "we"),

but also in spoken language:
ld (poultry) = germ. lud (praet. laden), vr ("castle") = germ. war (praet. sein), br ("though"; also "bar" but that's only derived), szn [si:n]


But no longer words, and certainly they have nothing to do with each other.
