As presented in Wright's grammar -- I'm looking at it now -- the
Gothic vowels (using a circumflex in place of Wright's macron)
and diphthongs are as follows, following 12:

Short vowels:

a   /a/
a  /E/
i    /I/
a /O/
u   /U/

Long vowels:

   /a:/
ai   /E:/
   /e:/
ei   /i:/
au  /O:/
    /o:/
    /u:/

Diphthongs:

i    /aj/
u    /aw/
iu    /iw/
