Hello all.

So, I've finally made a PDF file of my most authoritative
Grammar of Phaleran, which is available on my website:

<http://home.uchicago.edu/~trwier/phaleran/PhaleranGrammar.pdf>

So far, it runs to only 22 pages, and includes only some ethnographic
information and sketches of the phonetics, phonology, and nominal
morphology. (I apparently had just started on the verbal morphology
when I last worked on it, and it stops in midsentence. Need to fix
that.) It's positively riddled with misreadings of handwriting,
contradictions, typos, awkward phrases, and ill-conceived opinions.
I apparently only half-completed rejiggering the vowel harmony
system, so the phonetics are particularly screwed up. But then,
this wouldn't be a true hobby if it weren't screwed up! (See
Wittgenstein on language evolution.) The Ancients-of-Days among
you may have actually read some of the text originally on this list;
I've left much of that virtually unchanged. But, especially with
respect to case assignment, much else has changed.

Please, if you see problems, or have questions, I would greatly
appreciate hearing them!
