Yes, but what is the "euro-" in euroclone? Most past IALs called
"euroclones" have been based on Latinate sources, or only a bit
more broadly. Does euro- mean the present EU, or some envisioned
larger EU, or all the continent of Europe -- with all the Armenians,
Azeris, Bashkir, Belarus, Daghestanis, Georgians, Karelians,
Kazakhs, Maltese, Moldavians, Russians, Saami, Tatars, Turks,
Ukrainians, etc. given linguistic recognition? Might it even go beyond
the continent to include all the lands of the Mediterranean basin?
This is unclear to me, but would IMO have to be part of the planning
of a language for the EU.

This seems to equate euro- with Western Europe (the "Occident").
Would the present, much less future, EU members vote to
approve a project that would seem to remake them "Latinate'?
Remember there is a religious dimension here. Take the Belarus
for example.
