I thought Clinda was bacteriostatic too! Is your ID gp. at Hopkins stating
otherwise? If so, I stand corrected.

Our peds ID people were recommending clinda as opposed to bactrim
because bactrim as bacteriostatic as opposed to clinda being
bactericidal. Anyone else hearing this from their ID group? (By the
way, we also ran into the problem with liquid clinda being hard to come
by and terrible tasting when it COULD be found...)
