Sometimes, I do see "AVP" (or "AVO"), if the author is using "A" to mean
"subject of transitive verb" and reserving "S" for "subject of intransitive verb"
(as RMW Dixon does, for example).  Note that although "A" was obviously chosen
to be reminiscent of "agent", it is in this instance not synonymous with
"agent," if you're using "agent" to refer to a semantic role.
