Reminder:  The Second Annual Institute for Sports Medicine and Sports
Law Conference:

"Medical and Legal Controversies in Athletics: Collegiate, Professional,
Olympic and High School" will be held on December 7 & 8, 2006 at
Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago.

Representative speakers and panelists include practicing physicians,
athletic trainers, and attorneys speaking in their areas of expertise;
authors of the 36th Bethesda Conference Guidelines, select
representatives in the areas of Professional, Olympic, Collegiate, and
High School Athletics.  Topics include Cardiac Issues, Drug Testing,
Drugs of Abuse, "Performance Enhancing Drugs", Pharmaceuticals in the
Athletic Training Room, Cheerleading Injuries, Controversies in
Concussions, Overview of Legal Issues, HIPAA and the Athlete, and Title
IX.
