list,
been seeing toddlers with vague intermittent abdominal pain (mostly in the morning), occasional soft or diarrhea stools, occasional nbnb vomiting, but w/o fever, abd ttp, and who otherwise look and feel (except when belly hurts) well
adult side seeing young otherwise healthy individuals with epigastric discomfort (also mostly in the morning), worse with empty stomach, and some dyspepsia manifested by gaseous belching or hiccupping and flatus and occaisional soft or loose stools.
most of above, kids and adults, have ill contacts with uri type sxs (runny nose, congestion, sneezing, occ np cough)
but no fever in any of the above, and all generally look well and behave normally except when belly hurts, and then just whiney (kids) or unhappy (adults)
issue is, the illness lasts longer than the typical few days. seen some of these back a second time longer than 3-7d: with equally benign overall appearance
anybody else seeing this particular form of GE?
thoughts as to whether or not this is rotavirus, echovirus, salmonella, or whatnot?
