So, to sum up:

artlang: design motivated primarily by aesthetic and otherwise
subjective considerations

engelang: design motivated by objectively testable criteria

auxlang: design irrelevant to categorization, which depends only on
intended use, though presumably that use has a profound impact on the
design.

conlang: any of the above plus any other constructed language which
may have design goals somewhere in between those cardinal points.
