Everyone,

In preparing a TEI P5 document, I've not been able to get the
'type' attribute for <ref> to validate using the W3C validator.
Here's the DOCTYPE I'm using:

   <!DOCTYPE TEI PUBLIC
      "-//TEI P5//ENTITIES Common Core//EN"
   <!ENTITY % TEI.core "INCLUDE">
   <!ENTITY % TEI.textstructure "INCLUDE">
   <!ENTITY % TEI.header "INCLUDE">
   <!ENTITY % TEI.figures "INCLUDE">
   <!ENTITY % TEI.linking "INCLUDE">
   ]>

I'm not sure if:

a) the above DOCTYPE is specified properly, or
b) the W3C validator is buggy, or
c) the P5 DTD is buggy, or
d) the 'type' attribute is not intended to be supported for <ref>
   in P5.

Thanks!
