LCC is unfortunately geographically inconvenient so it's not
something that I would want to invest in. Maybe if there was one
here in the Southeast. However, JSTOR access is a strong motivator.
I could easily be swayed for $10-20. The key to getting membership
going will be in having some good benefits to offer.

Just a comment so everyone is aware:

Until we (the LCS) receive our state and federal tax exemptions, we
can't
discuss membership benefits except in a very preliminary way because
we don't yet know for certain what our situation will be then. At
that time, discussion will become much more serious, and we will
undoubtedly solicit ideas from the community. We welcome your
suggestions - we just can't say whether anything is possible or
impossible right now.

If you have specific questions or ideas, feel free to e-mail any of
the LCS officers: Sai (President), Henrik Theiling (Vice President),
or me (Secretary/Treasurer).
