MOTRIN.....?? please consider Morphine/Tramadol/Oxycontin for the guys, even for a moderate pain.
Yesterday we treated a teenager with SC crisis who was terribly, terribly suffering. He has been on oxycontin on a daily basis @ home. Repeated doses of Morphine gave him only mild relief. We discussed this case with the guys from the pain unit; only the continuous drip of Tramadol and Ketamine saved the patient from his Excruciating PAIN.

WHy a triage level 2 . I think some patients can be handled as triage 3,especially if you allow the triage nurses to administer motrin in the WR.
