The people of Bothflanks use the idiom "and a dog ate a white pudding (pork 
sausage)".
(In other languages, the dog ate a quarter of sausage or a bit of meat.)
It means "and so on ad nauseam" and is based on the infinite Lay of dog's 
grave inscription.
