## Day 2: ‘shoe’

Because I took out my shoes from my study earlier today.

Rhodrese

: _la çavate_ /ləˌsəˈvatɪ/, pl. _gli cevet_ /ʎɪˌsɪˈvɛt/

: Ultimately from Turkish _zabata_, with cognates in Occitan,
French, the Ibero-Romance languages and Basque.

Euia Twas

: _xẃw_ /ɕu/

: As can be seen a recent loan from English. Since Twas is
located in the tropical zone most people walk barefoot all
     the time.
