We are announcing the call for applications for the AAP Section on Emergency Medicine’s Ken Graff Young Investigator Award 2015!

Please see the attached application for this $12,500 award funded through the Graff Endowment and the timeline below for this year’s opportunity.

January 2015                     Ken Graff Award officially announced.

February 2, 2015               Deadline for 3-4 page pre-proposal (not including bibliography).

March 16, 2015                 Deadline for reviewer comments on pre-proposals.

March 18, 2015                 Investigators of selected pre-proposals notified and requested to submit detailed proposals.

May 4, 2015                       Deadline for detailed proposals.

June 29, 2015                    Deadline for reviewer comments on final proposals.

 July 13, 2015                     Winner announced, Award recipient information to AAP.

October 2015                    Award presented during AAP Section on Emergency Medicine meeting at the AAP National Conference and Exhibition.

June 1, 2016                      Project progress report due, signed by principal investigator (and mentor).

October 2017                    AAP final financial report due, signed by principal investigator and institutional fiscal officer.

October 2017                    AAP research presentation at the AAP Section on Emergency Medicine meeting.
