I'm trying to find a list of hypothetical modern English words based on
(P)IE roots that English has lost. Can anyone help me?

For example, if you go to this Wikipedia list (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-European_vocabulary ), you can see many
gaps where English has no native descendant (**ésH₂r̥, *esH₂nés* "blood",
e.g.). What would the modern form of this word be if it hadn't been
replaced by Proto-Germanic

blōþą?
