Getting ahead of ourselves, here's a Nov06 proverb (using provisional vocabulary):

xunil
Hab-tell
"A Saying"

faxtawa uti xof bu sen, zu xof cina tisme doba.
angry-TmpS-Tran Asg-Prox dog Erg cat, Medi dog eat-Tran Prox-Anim-Poss food.
"While the dog was angry at the cat, the other dog ate his food."

-Anim	animate
Asg-	index assignment
Erg	ergative case
Hab-	habitual aspect
Medi	medial demonstrative
-Poss	possessive
Prox	proximal demonstrative
-TmpS	temporal adverbial
-Tran	transitive

This uses a temporal adverbial, indexing, and a possessive determiner derived from a demonstrative pronoun. The demonstrative root _ti_ is literally "this" and _zu_ "that", but they're used only for contrast.
