The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Kings County Hospital and SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York is recruiting two pediatric emergency medicine physicians Our division is comprised of an energetic group of PEM physicians with a strong commitment to clinical care, education and research. The faculty provides care at Kings County Hospital Center, an urban teaching and Level 1 trauma center, as well as at University Hospital of Brooklyn, the academic teaching hospital for the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine cares for over 35,000 pediatric patients at Kings County Hospital and 20,000 pediatric patients at University Hospital of Brooklyn annually. The PEM faculty provides 24/7 attending coverage with most shifts staffed with double coverage with PEM or EM faculty. Residents from the Departments of Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Practice and the combined EM/IM program along with physician assistant and medical school students rotate in our Division. 

Candidates should be PEM board certified or eligible. Sessional or per diem opportunities are also available.
