    I still maintain that this notion of "the greatest ease for the
greatest number" is unworkable in practice.  For one thing, it may not
be able to optimize various features individually for "the greatest
number" at the same time.  And even if it were somehow possible, would
many people on this list accept such an ideal (con)IAL if it turned out
*not* to be a Euroclone?
