Well, that "ps" is a problem in many languages, especially given the clas=
h between
what is "correct" in terms of the modern language, and what is "correct" =
in terms of
Greek.  In Turkish "psikoloji" should in theory be pronounced as it looks=
, but
generally is pronounced "piskoloji".  This may well be to avoid the risk =
of it
coming out as "sikoloji", a word which would, if it existed, mean the stu=
dy of male
genitalia.
