Oh, more so than women in my culture.  However, this is a language that
is spoken by non-Humans.  They have no pair-bond instinct, and thus,
have no pairing-off, so the male ancestors are not known.  In fact, the
word for "father" is a technical term based on mother.  It would make as
much sense to tell a story about your male ancestor as it would be for
us to tell a story about, oh, say ... the person who taught your
doctor.  Ultimately, a person upon whom your life may depend, but not a
person who really has anything to do with you directly.
