(don't take me wrong, i'm no picky on such a very trivial issue ;-)
the umlaut is always there on a, o and u precedent
to have "chen" be pronounced [=E7en] like in K=FCche,
not [xen] as in kuchen.

die Kuh > das K=FChchen
das Huhn > das H=FChnchen
